Cherokee Sage Woman

I just finished the latest book by my favorite Author of all time, Anne Lamott. Titled, 'Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith'.. a MUST read! For those of you who have read her previous books, 'Traveling Mercies', 'Bird by Bird', et al.. you will adore this one. Anne is a left wing liberal white woman w/ dreads, who has suffered thru the human malady and arrives to us in full & funny measures of grace. She is a single woman raising a teen-age son, near San Fran. Having discovered religion late in life.. she still has issues w/ her thighs (she lovingly calls her 'aunties', Mary & Margaret) and MAJOR issues w/ George Dubyah. What's not to love??
She makes me realize that we will survive all of this, & we can even find moments to be grateful and to smile, in the interim.
