All In The Family

Bush's "Uncle Bucky" Collected Millions From Sale Of Company That Profited From War...
LA Times

As President Bush embarks on a new effort to shore up public support for the war in Iraq, an uncle of the commander in chief is collecting $2.7 million in cash and stock from the recent sale of a company that profited from the war.
A report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission shows that William H.T. Bush collected just under $1.9 million in cash plus stock valued at more than $800,000 from the sale of Engineered Support Systems Inc. to DRS Technologies of New Jersey.
Comments:
Isn't that why the Shrub got into politics? To make all of his family more money.

Crazy stuff.

In the year 2006 we still are reluctant to elect a Catholic - dare his ties be to Rome rather than Washington. We're still reluctant to elect a Jew - dare his ties to be Israel rather than Washington. Yet for some unknown reason we're comfortable with electing an oil business man whose ties DO actually affect his job and influence his decisions.

Gawd, America, you suck my life force sometimes. I just cannot even believe the mess we've gotten ourselves into. And I can't believe how many people don't even notice.
