A couple of 'feel good's

There is a huge difference between saying you are decended from Cherokee or Native blood and saying you ARE Cherokee or Native Blood.

If you really want to honor these nations, you might want to try learing a little more about them.
Your use of the words "namaste" & "nokomis" in your profile are so wrong its really kind of embarrasing.

Have a nice day.

I guess I don't see where in your profile you say that those are Native American terms, but rather you refer to them as words that represent philosophies your parents instilled in you. I'm confused why that's disrespectful or dishonorable.

At any rate there's nothing like a bit of blog-trollin' to counteract a Peace Tower, huh?

Maybe she really 'r.puppet'??
I'm assuming this person is following up another diatribe I got from some 'David'.. who like this person, has nothing better to do than be negative to a member of their 'so-called' family.
I'm happy & content in my heritage.. & can only feel sorry that these close-minded people are so much a part of what is WRONG in the tribal system today.
Folks, go play in a casino somewhere.. & leave the rest of the positive Cherokee folk alone.. or better yet, write your own damned blog. There are plenty of venues for you to pontificate your purity to your heart's delight.
Peace out..

I think there are those who rummage through blogs looking to find the differences in what they think and what is written. What a huge waste of time.
Life is too short for that kind of thinking.

Absolutely true.. too many of us forget that we are Americans.. a gigantic meld of all types of societies, all special in their own right & even more dynamic in the meld.
My 1st thought was 'now I know how Barack Obama feels when people say he's not Black enough' As a quarter Cherokee, I'm still not Native American enough? ha
OK.. life IS short.. I'm going to go celebrate my Irish heritage today!
