I was on a waterboarding kick a few weeks ago. Several of the articles I read said that the average detainee lasts about 14 seconds under that type of "torture". There was a huge hub-bub after one of Saddam's guys lasted a little over 2 minutes.

This reporter was able to go 24 minutes??

Here's my conclusion: Imagine how they *really* do this technique to actual prisoners.

Incredible. How can we: a) think this is not torture?..let's ask ourselves this: would we want OUR soldiers treated like that if they were captured? b) provides accurate information?..14 seconds into this, and I guarantee I'd admit to kidnapping the Lindberg baby! And hell, I wasn't even alive when that happened!

Great post. And bravo to the reporter for doing this.
